Our Porch doors are designed to be hung in sheltered exterior areas and protected outdoor entrance ways.  Superior Doors Porch doors contain MR particle board cores, H3.1 treated rails and stiles, water resistant cross linking D4 glue and use waterproof expanding polyurethane glue to seal all exterior joins.

 

For grand entrance ways, Superior Doors can offer custom sized Porch doors up to 2690mm high by 1200mm wide. We offer skin thickness’s of

 

- 3mm, 36mm thick door (Up to 1980mm high x 910 wide only)

- 4.75mm, 40mm thick door (up to 2690mm high x 1200mm wide)

- 6mm, 42.5mm thick door (up to 2400mm high x 1200mm wide)

 

Of course all of the Superior Doors grooved options are available on the porch doors. So you can really customise your entrance way.

 

Our porch doors are not warranted for use as a fully exposed exterior door. As such they should never be exposed to direct weather including moisture, rain or sun.

 

It is important that Porch Doors are painted in light colours, with an LRV value of no less than 50. The LRV measures the amount of light a paint colour reflects. Most reputable paint manufacturers list the LRV of each colour so if in doubt talk with your supplier or check the manufacturers website.
